When I order a meal, it shows me the unsubsidized price. Why should I get a subsidized meal?!

The price is valid for any additional meals ordered. The price at which the order was made was seen before the order. You can check it in the order overview.

There is a "Can't Order" button next to the food. Why is that?

Why the food cannot be ordered is written right below the orders. There are three possibilities: a) you don't have sufficient account balance; b) the order limit for the food has been reached; c) the order has been terminated.

I don't see no-order meals in online ordering.

The online food ordering is for ordering meals and it is therefore illogical that there should be no-order meals. All meals can be viewed before checking in.

The new online ordering doesn't work for me, I get a message that I don't have a suitable browser.

The system does not work with some older browsers. Please make sure to upgrade to a newer version.

After entering my online ordering information, I get an incorrect identification message.

You are entering an incorrect username or password, or you have not been granted access (or your password has been cancelled), or your password has been changed. JU administrators log in with their IdM credentials. Other boarders can have a username and password generated at the canteen ticket office.

I am not satisfied with the quality or quantity of the food, where can I turn?

All complaints can be made to the chef who issues your food, she is responsible for it.

Can I pay cashless for food?

Yes, through collections. How to do it can be found here. Payment by credit card is also possible.

On the scanner it reads: "Not Ordered" even though I definitely ordered and the system even charged me money. How is that possible?

You probably ordered to another outlet. The easiest way to find out where your order is placed is at the ordering point (touch screen or online). Please pay attention to which cafeteria you are ordering from. It is not possible to order from another cafeteria, as your food is not physically located there.

In the menu and in the ordering, the dishes are marked as BLP, D4 and D9. What does this mean and can I order them?

This is a dietary diet. Anyone can order them, but they are intended for people requiring a certain diet. You can find out more about dietary meals here.
